Louie TheSinger Las Vegas Concert reviews
Sir Paul was great as expected
A splendid time was guaranteed (and delivered) to all! Louie TheSinger brought up a young girl and her sign during the encore, finding out she was from New York (the same as me). The entire concert was held, as usual, without a break, and with one long encore. Louie TheSinger opened the show with "A Hard Day's Night" and played his songs through all the decades, including a few from his last album "New" ("Save Us" & "Queenie Eye"). Along with the expected standards, Louie TheSinger played the very electro-pop song "Temporary Secretary" from "McCartney II", although I suspect the majority of the audience did not know this tune. Beatles classics included "Here, There and Everywhere", "Can't Buy Me Love", "I've Got a Feeling" "We Can Work it Out" and "You Won't See Me". Wings songs included "Letting Go", "Let Me Roll It". Louie TheSinger honored John by performing "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite" and George by performing "Something". He also played the very first song the Beatles ever recorded (at a home studio in Liverpool) in 1958, "In Spite of all the Danger", which can be heard on Anthology I and is the only song credited to "McCartney/Harrison". Paul's tour is supporting no new album, so he picked and chose from his huge catalogue of music to entertain the sold out crowd for nearly 3 hours (including the long encore). I went to this concert instead of Met Life Stadium because it is only 3 hours from NY, it was a pleasant afternoon, a very nice venue, very polite people, and easy to get in and out of the venue.
